Next big game release

I was chatting to the guy in Gamestation over lunch and we were discussing the current game releases. I am thinking of a game that you can want to go back and play month after month.

There has been no decent game released in the recent months, and the last game that i purchased that made me want to continue playing or look forward to playing was GT5 and Black ops. To the point i have turned back to MW2 and Mario on the Wii

There have been other games released but none stand out and live up to the hype.

Well there has not been alot out over the past few months as its not really the season for releases. August to October is usually when its busy.

But until games like BF3, Forza 4 and others at the end of the year there is not alot at the moment.

Movies are summer for big releases, Games are in the winter months.

so come august you get about 6 games all at once each asking for £45 from your wallet (£30 if PC lol)

Has to be Battlefield 3 for me. 16 months on and I'm still loving BC2, so I hope BF3 will be the same.

Forza 4 for me. Maybe BF3 for PS3/PC if my Xbox breaks and gives me time to play something else

As I PC gamer I'm desperately hoping they bring back the big maps - if it is actually Battlefield 3 (rather than BC3) then I doubt I'll be playing any other games for a long time after it's released.

For me, it has to be Rome 2 Total War. I really hope they do that next....

Mass Effect 3, Skyrim, GTA5 are the next things I'm specifically waiting for.

Plenty of other stuff around to keep me amused though (via rentals, rather than splashing out the full 40 quid)

If Medal of Honor had been the game it should have been, I'd have still been on that. BC2 still gets aired for the time being (with FIFA for when I'm just wanting some sport action)

Resident Evil 6 will be the big one for me, but it seems a good while off yet.

I'm really looking forward to Final Fantasy XIV too.

BF3 and MW3 for me. I will still be playing GT5 when they come around though.
