First Damaged Mulsanne ?

surely this must be the first of its kind to end up as salvage - must have some serious damage behind the panels

But where would you get the parts (apart from the factory), not like many garages/bodyshops would be able to get parts for them - or would they?

I wonder why that wasn't repaired. It says not currently on the HPI register but may come on in the future as a Cat D.

Seeing as the insurance company have written it off as uneconomical to repair I dread to think what the repair bill will be, beairing in mind that it is at least a £200k car second hand.

Doesn't look like the airbags went off. Perhaps it is so solidly built the front end didn't notice the rear end impact !

Air bags wouldn't normally deploy in a rear end collision unless shunted forward into the vehicle in front.

What I can't understand is why is the car pitched forward, as if the front suspension in compressed and the rear unloaded? That makes me think there may be more significant chassis/suspension damage.
