Welcome to the Maserati 4x4. In a similar vein to the umbrella holder in the door of a Phantom, the Maserati has a holder for a white stick in the drivers door.

The blacked out windsreen will be the most requested optional extra. Although they still have to get around the problem of people being seen getting in and out of it.

Well, each to their own. If it means they have more cash to build the other Maserati then it doesn't matter, does it? After all, what does it matter what others spend their own hard earned cash on?

but it will be. Look at the number of X6's, X5's, Cayennes, etc on the road. There is a market for these things, and it will sell. The only 'real' other top marques are the Cayenne, and the FFRR.

To be fair is doesn't look as bad as some of the hideous SUV/SAV/Xover vehicles out there and I'm sure being a Maser it will be mighty fine.

Very Alfa 147ish. Wheels look horrible though - are they from another Maser? I can't believe this would be genuine...

Could be similar to what AM are doing with the Cygnet? i.e. Emissions..

I think it looks quite subtle compared to other high-end SUVs (remember the Lagonda?). A few manufacturers have been looking in to the expensive SUV market, but nobody has ever delivered.
