Guys hope someone can help!

My tuscan it reporting a EFI fault all the time and it will not clear when I try to reset..
From the diagnostic software I have found that the reading for the barometer is reading 1001 which according to the tvr software instructions is way to high and should be classed as a fault. I've replaced the air intake sensor that bolts onto the airbox but i still have this a EFI fault and the 1001 reading for barometer... frown

Anyone got any suggestions to try ???

Cheers

Andy, I think the sensor you replaced might have been the Air Temp sensor. The barometric pressure sensor is piped from the rear of the air box to a sensor inside the cabin. Could that pipe be blocked, leaking or the sensor failed?

Druid,
Balls! that what i've replaced... As everytime i've reseatted the old one it would work for 5 minutes before EFI again!!. do you have any pictures of the sensor i need to check ??.
I've only got 1 pipe come off my air box to the oil reserve tank.

Large bore Oil tank breather hose at the front, small bore vacuum hose front inner and the barometric hose at the rear only found when removing airbox. Have read if the air filter is blocked it can cause barometric failures.

Yours might be different of course!

Also check your electrical connection to any associated sensors before replacing them they are prone to corroding.

believe that sensor is inside the ecu case on the control board
Running with that small pipe disconnected doesnt make a fault code btw

Funny you say about the blocked air filter as this fault started to occured after i replaced it with a new one... The new one seemed to be pre oiled is that correct ??? It came from TVR power stores

Check your installation. Remove the filter check the pressure pipe. Run it briefly without the filter just to be sure.
