Longlife exhausts

I've 2 cars that I'd like new systems for. LL have 3 close ish outlets and as I think these are franchises does anyone have any feedback for either Amesbury, Oxford or Bristol?

I took my old MG ZS to the Bristol branch of Longlife a few years ago. Can't fault them, they were good as gold, and the pipes were great too.

Little bit of advice regarding Bristol LL (not sure if it carries over to other branches) - get a quotation from them and then ignore them for a few days/weeks - you'll find the price drops significantly!

An alternative suggestion is to get a noise control valve and remap, so that you can run quiet, standard pipes when you're leaving/returning home early, and switch over to free-flowing straight pipes (obviously producing more power) when you're on the backroad/track/airfield/tunnel. Backdraft Motorsport are the boys in the business for that.

I would also seriously recommend a trip to Cardiff and Pro-Speed. He is MUCH cheaper than Longlife, does a much better job and uses proper grade stainless steel so you'll save the cost of fuel twice over. I used Longlife on my Z28 and wouldn't use them again after using Pr0-Speed.

Charlie will literally bend over backwards to do a great job and won't let the car go until you're 100% satisfied with the fit and the noise.

Another vote for Charlie @ Prospeed here. Top bloke who is really passionate about his work.

I've also had a Longlife system and it fell off after 4 months!

Saying that, the longlife places are all franchises (i believe) so im sure quality will differ massively around the country.
