TVRs at Knockhill - 31st July 2011
Discussion
Just spreading the word about the "Scottish Speedfair and Classic Festival" event which is taking place at Knockhill Racing Circuit on Sunday 31st July. The circuit is north of Edinburgh, just across the Forth and into Fife. I know that this will be a bit far for many people to travel but hopefully still within range for a few TVRs from the north of England.
I've been speaking with the team at Knockhill Circuit and I've managed to get us a space in the paddock area which will be just for TVRs. This won't be a TVR-only event, but we'll have a good position at one of Knockhill's big events. There will be plenty of classic cars to look at and lots of racing on the track too - there were even some classic TVRs racing last year! More details of last year's event can be found on the Knockhill website www.knockhill.com
This year they will have a gathering of Jaguar E-types celebrating it's 50th Anniversary. There will also be some Porsches celerating the 50th Anniversary of the Porsche Club.
I need to give an indication of numbers in the next week or two so if you're interested in attending, please could you start a list on here and let me know what car you'll be bringing (just the model - don't need the reg number). I've already got 20+ people interested so far, but the more the merrier!
Cheers,
Adrian
