Great North Run - Be kind...

Morning all,

I'm doing the great North run this year in aid of Marie Curie, who's nurses were brilliant in supporting/helping us at the end of dads life - if it wasn't for them chances are dad wouldn't have got his wish to die at home. I've got my sponsor forms and will be trying to see you all at Dony to see if you can spare a few quid for this amazing cause.

Thanks all! As it gets closer, I'm rather wishing I had listened to others and got some training in - still, it'll be a good laugh and in at the deep end as per usual it is haha!!

Evening all

Completed the Great North Run today without any major hicups. Pleased to report a time of 2:43:25 - not bad for no training lol! Reckon I will hang the running shoes up now though lol.
