Where are the green cars?

Why are green cars - as in green paint - so rare? I had a look at the car park at work, a couple of hundred cars, and not one green or even greenish.

Why, does it have some dire effect on depreciation, or just looks wrong?

There are some but not many, and darker green looks okay on certain makes.

I think green looks good on certain cars, I like the ford focus rs in green.

You're right they are rare, people like to go for "safe" colours.

I like different in your face colours though.

My Dad had a 1975 Mk 3 Cortina 2000E in a Mushy Pea Green colour when I was younger.

I've got a green X-Type. Quite dark green it almost looks black in certain light.

Think it looks a bit 'old man' to be honest. Probably wouldn't buy another green car.

My dad had a green Talbot Sunbeam more than a few years ago.

I drive a green car, daily!



Looks almost black in low light but has a nice sparkle to it in the sunshine. VW did some great colours on their cars in the 90's but it just seems like all the cars you see these days are painted from a very, very limited colour palette

People are so terrified of resale values or not fitting in or something.. I don't know what it is.
