Please let me have you best costs for removing an existing bath and replacing with a walk in shower tray. Job involves the following from what I can see:-

Move waste from one end to the other for shower tray
New mixer and plumbing
Fit tray the size of the old bath (tiled on three sides - it's a small bathroom)
Fixed rigid shower screen or similar
Remove old tiles and retile
Retile sink splashback to match

In the West Midlands - so not as expensive as Knightsbridge and not as cheap as the outer Hebrides.

Anything to watch out for?

Are you intending on having the showertray waste at the same height as the bath waste is?

I guess shower tray waste will be lower.

Then you need to sort out how this can be done. It may involve a lot of work...or not.

Thanks Arthur. I will have a look next time I am at the house. Newish build with chipboard floor. Main soil pipe runs internally through the bathroom so I am assuming putting in a waste with the correct slope should not be a problem.
