That's bloody excellent.

What a great teacher and fun project. Makes me want to go back to school and have him as my teacher and that technology to play with

I wouldn't care if it was Lada... great way to get kids into music. Wish I'd had such stuff when I used to teach.

Absolutely. Back in the day all the kids who weren't much use at "music" got percussion instruments, or maybe a recorder, now they get an Ipad. Why not? If it engages them and they can feel the joy of producing something then it's got to be good.

Yup, music was always a terrible lesson when I was in school because I could never master any of the instruments (though went on to play drums eventually) and they never had enough time to teach anything useful, so it was a complete waste of time. I would've killed to do something like that.
