Don't forget that Bayford Trust Petrol is 101 octane, a useful start for wedge owners going on to the track.

I was thinking more along the lines of using Optimax and an octane boost,it's easy to find a Shell garage than a leaded petrol station.Been using Miller but i can only find it in small cans,thought if i can get it in 5 litres it might be a good bit cheaper

Someone told me you can get Millers VSP in bulk from a place called Fosters Garage somewhere in Lancashire. Not sure where it is though...

An occasional tank of four star will leave some deposits round the valve gear which will be beneficial to extending engine life though.
