hi all.

had a puncture in my wheel last week and managed to get it fixed, but since then there’s been a faint, not massive but still noticeable wobble in the steering wheel which can only be felt under braking, I initially put it down to the crappy tarmac the council laid as I’d only driven it over a few miles the first few times. but have now noticed it on other roads.

I had both front wheels balanced after the repair as it was out beforehand.

I’m fairly sure it’s not the brakes either as I had them checked over since the MOT and they said there was loads left on. and I’ve not driven that hard to eat them up so quickly.

anyone have any ideas of what it may be before I go spend cash on parts and labour for something I can do myself??

Car? Could be some st on the hub that has dropped down since the wheel was removed to have the puncture repaired?? Remove wheel & brake disc and clean all mating surfaces.

popped into another garage this morning. looks like it might be a warped disk. frown
