how do i get of the line with out the wheel spins and sliding every were
whats the best method

running street tyres , burn out or not , air out of back tyres? by how much
need a good time need help

Less tyre pressure and throttle control

Drop pressure to 12-15 psi, possibly a little burn out then lot's of revs, don't dump the clutch but feed it out quickly and progressively.

Hi

I was up at Crail doing some 1/4 mile action in my 4.2 Ajp a few weeks ago.

Lessons learned after

Less revs to launch the cerb, other wise you will just sit and spin on the line.
I was using around 3k to launch wish i had a few more runs as i think a little more would have been better but try around 3k to start with just dump the clutch and gun it. See here best run was a 13.025@111mph Not too bad for my first time in a TVR

As DbV8 says run 18psi in your tyres i was running far to high normal for me is 26psi so far to hard for this.

Next time i will see the 12's

I will try harder next time, but my 4WD system i need to fit due to crails very poor surface slowed me down
