They paved paradise and put up a parking lot
With a pink hotel, a boutique, and a swingin' hot spot
Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you got 'til it's gone
They paved paradise and put up a parking lot

(BTW I always hated that song).

I was hoping that they were finally going to build the 1/2 mile 33deg banked oval..... then they spoil it with building a ruddy hotel etc..

It actually looks like they've paved over the parking lot going by that plan. The fields at the West side of Dadford Road anyway. And planted lots of random trees in the permanent carparks. Looks impressive, but if it does all go ahead, it'll still be windy and bleak. smile

Remodelling some of the infield to offer new banking to general admission ticket holders would be nice. I was very surprised (after they talked up the new developments opening up a whole new area for fans) that this year there is actually less general admission space for what are generally some of the most loyal and longest serving fans.
