As some of you know, I have been considering selling my Wee Beastie due to redundancy, lack of jobs and having to consider using the Wedge to fund a business venture.....
......NEWS FLASH......
Spotted a job yesterday, supplied C.V got a call for an immediate interview and start the job today (Friday) Thank f
k For That!!!!! Same job I was doing before redundancy and a better basic pay (result)!
So a big thanks to those who expressed an interest in the Wee Beastie. but it will be me driving it to the Fest and hoping the bugger gets there and back under its own power!

Well, bugger....might as well give you the loudest prize now....and best car too.
(Always been my favourite wedge.)
Subtlety personified..... not elvis on steroids !!
Your car is what i thought TVR always had in mind....(a wolf in sheeps clothing) before the real eighties kicked in and large collars and kipper ties were on cars as well as the fashionista !!
Never forget that as one door closes....another one slams in your face !!!
Nice one on the work front chedder.
Hear you on saturday (week)

I also considered selling the wedge when I was made redundant (it took me 22 months to find a permanent job, love the job, love the colleagues - hate the commuting). I had to miss Zolder two years running but I have still kept hold of the 390. And I did make sure that I was at BBWF!
I was able to work on a couple of short contracts during the time - to keep the wolf from the door.
The thing I regret most is not knowing how long I would be out, had I known that I would have done lots of jobs on the car, trouble is that you keep thinking to yourself that the application that you have just made for a job that you are well suited will succeed in short order. Too often it didn't.
I didn't run the car often enough, hence my problems with oil-pressure, timing and starter motor mean that although I will be at BBWF it may not be in the TVR this year.
Well done getting a job anyway, may it last as long as you want it to.
