It has M3 Replicas. It's a saloon if that helps and doesn't have any M bodykit fitted. Doesn't even have the sports seats?!

Unless it's a sport, which a saloon can't be, it shouldn't have anything.

I think*

It appears a previous owner has simply fitted the M Tech mouldings found on the M3 loon.

The standard moulding should be slightly triangular with no badges. M mouldings are flat and are available as either a smooth or textured finish, depending on pre/post-facelift.

Or you could just leave it as it is.

It's a genuine pleasure.

By all means "rectify" it, but the original ones actually don't look very nice as they're chunky.

Also, if you take the time to look at your car, you'll see you need to change all four door strips and also the two strips on the front wings. What usually happens when you take them off is that the clips snap as they become brittle over time, so it turns into a bit of a silly job.

Unless you really hate the ones on there, I'd leave them as they are.

Happy now? wink

Funnily enough I drove past an E36 on the way home from work and you are right, the correct ones do look a bit naff! Currently searching for more suitable badges or failing that I'll paint the 'M' ones matt black.

So thanks for your input biggrin

I have the BMW motorsport international badges on mine, I didn't want M3 (it's a 328)and they're a bit different to the usual M / Alpina / Hartge etc
Sorry I don't have any close up pics

I think the car looks better with the M mouldings than the thinner SE items IMO
