Anyhow, there's plenty of these out there. I reckon some replacement G/F or carbon mating sections between the mirror housing and the wedge could be made so that it looks a perfect fit.

I like the heated mirror and the built-in indicator (adds to the safety aspect) and I'm pretty damn sure having driven a bunch of Merc's over the years that the view from these will be infinitely superior to that of my wedge - they look good but offer a crap view.

Anyone live near this place???

May arrange to go there on my way to the fest but it's kind of out of the way.
