Off to a good start

Engines got to come out (squeely release bearing)on the Taimar and we'll have a bit if a clean and tidy up while I've got better access.
So made a start last night, o/s exhaust manifold off in about five minutes n/s about an hour!
Seems like starter is in the way but manifold is in the way of getting starter out? ended up with everything detatched then undid engine mount and jacked up engine on that side, the pair of them then wiggled out somehow together.

Sound right or have I missed an easier way ?

That's about right, lift the engine just enough to joggle it out.

There's the problem, I was wiggling not joggling

I had the same problem when takin mine to pieces a month or so ago, but same answer as Adrian - I lifted it out/up at same time and it come out easily then
