Speed Six 'S' ??

Looking through the documentation for my newly acquired cerbie, in the drivers handbook the selling dealer has noted the model as a Speed Six S. Does anyone know of such a model derivation? It has a rather naff S sticker below the Speed Six boot badge as well.

I can't find anything in the records other than a service reference to non-standard exhaust and I know it has adjustable dampers though I don't know what make. Are the standard dampers adjustable, there's no record of them being replaced.

The engine was rebuilt by Austec Racing but the S in the handbook looks like it has been there from the start.

Any ideas?

I dont believe the 'S' spec S6 was a factory option for Cerbs BUT TVR often mde specials, so you never know.
Austec did offer S6 rebuilds to 'S' spec (whatever than means) so I guess that it might be a later mod.
Adjustable suspension would also be a later mod.
