Mind just wandering, but I wonder when someone like Tet is going to come up with a boot lid shaped like a spoiler. scratchchin

This colour scheme works for me too, but i simply cannot get on with those spoilers i'm afraid. Even for a mad wedge they are rather ridiculous............paperbaggetmecoat

Out of interest why did you remove the roll bar? Quite fancy one myself one day.

Like we both just said, each to their own. I removed it purely because I prefered the look without it. "Canofworms" smiley would be handy now, hopefully the debate on safer with/better without don't start again.
Some have said they stiffen the car up and it handles better, but I have noticed no difference in mine at all since taking it out. AND I am still alive cool

I think the SEAC spoiler looks better on the flared arch cars... S2 390s and onwards (which includes yours of course Topton) smile

I think the spoiler is perfect for the car, sure its mad, ridiculous, stupid, over the top but then again so are Wedge cars in general. In a world of mass produced for the masses - jelly mold designed corporate tin tops the more these cars stand out the better IMHO.

I love my spoiler, if you want something more mundane then go for a 450SE! wink

Its also good to put your pint and sarnies on hehe

Spoilers..Love em or hate them they serve a purpose...Whether they stabilise the rear at high speeds or multi task as a serving tray for tea and sarnies..Or are just aesthetically pleasing..I found this LHD 280 that looks cool with a small spoiler..

I was in 2 minds when I bought mine whether to keep the TEA TRAY, go for a zender type spoiler or the standard type. I decided to keep it as it was because-

It is a BIG BAD WEDGE and nothing about it should be subtle or understated. The noise is not a nice soft ballad, it is a full blown 50 piece orchestra. Its presence is 'look at me' so the spoiler is 'in ya face'.

I certainly don't dislike the other spoilers, or even a wedge without. I had a 350SE a while back that had the standard type spoiler and I liked it like that, didn't enter my head to change it. But for me, this wedge shouts out loud "i need this big thing on my ass to show how much of a hooligan I am"
