12 x 135mm rear wheels or conversion kits?
Discussion
Hey guys,
I have just picked up a Kona Stinky Deluxe 08 frame and it came with a 12x135mm axled rear end and my current rear wheel is a QR Halo Combat with a 9 spd cassette.
What wheel options are there for £100 or less or can I convert my combat to 12x135 axle? I have been trying to find inexpensive rear wheels but am having trouble!
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Mudgey

Keep a look out in any SH area for any appropriate rim on a Hope Pro 2 hub: they (the hub) can be converted from QR to 20mm for about £25.
I think that's the front hub, which just requires spacers. I think the 135X12mm is a different design - the hope website is not much use though! Certainly the 150mmx12mm design is very different as far as the hub shell goes, although obviously it's wider.Certainly worth looking into though.
Hope part no. HUB222 Pro 2 Rear 12mm Thro Conversion Kit.

Had the 10mm equivalent fitted to my hub t' other week.
Always Pro 2 wheels of some description on the STW classifieds: just got to find some with a reasonably suitable rim.
