problem with fuel pump

Sometimes when turning the key the fuel pump doesn't always work...
can hear the relay working but no pump, turn they key on/off a few more times and hey presto it comes on.
Would it be bad wiring or fuel pump on its way out?

Could be either, But i would check the wiring. Have you done the wiring upgrade?

Check the fuse on the bank of four above the ecu as they get crudded up

Haven't upgraded wiring yet, will check fuses and etc. Wiring 2 pump looked good so will check it the other end and go from there.anyone now what's involved in rewiring it
