Travelling back from a friends house on Saturday night in my newly acquired Griff 500. Just coming up over the brow of a hill when I see breakdown truck coming to a standstill in front of me, flames coming from the underside. Stopped and called the fire brigade.

Just struck me (with all the bad press about TVR reliability) as funny that a TVR stopped to help out a breakdown truck.

Is this a first?

Hahahahaha, brilliant.

Although I've posted a few times about how nightmarish my Tiv was, the irony of this isn't lost on me.

Dont worry - saw an AA recovery truck towing another ..... AA recovery truck. Even affects them too. Oh, did I laugh. Seeing as all of the leading roadside assistance people are claiming an 80% by-the-side-of-the-road fix rate.... cant even manage it with their own.

Cheers,

Paul
