You've replaced the single silencer box with two sets of two silencers in series? No wonder it's more quiet! Disconnect the ones at the end and see how you like the sound.

You have justed wasted your money!if all you want is noise then you should of dropped the exhaust then cut in to the silencer box and replaced the perforated with solid pipe, then weld it back..idea What about the clutch ?

Can they weld out there !because it looks like pigeon scensoredit

the last pipes u are talking about are the original that was polished.the system really give me extra back pressure and can feel the difference but its a bit quiet compair to what i used to have.so was thinking puting back my old bullets or go nuts and go straight pipe all the way!!i just dont want it to sound like a tractor thats all.i tried to copy the cherry bomb system but for what i've seen on youtbe the cherry bomb is making a much better noise!!for the price it was actually pretty cheap for how much work they did.all in for less than 200pounds.i ll let u know tomorrow night after my hopefully last visit to the exhaust shop...

Im sure you can turn cherry bombs round to make it louder

You can see in the pic, the fins will absorb noise and change the tone, and other other way round gives a different note

Alex interesting point!!i ll ask the guy tomorrow!!as i think straight pipe will be a bit too much.a CHIMAERA already get a lot of looks without the noise so i cant imagine if its louder ahaha

i first went with 2 small bullets but with the orignal piping.didn't like the noise at all so decided to go full stainless steal and longer bullets.too quiet for my taste.so maybe i should try the shorter bullets now that i have the full stainless steal system.it might be better!!!i dont want to put back my old bullets with my nice new shiny exhaust.how will a full straight stainless steal exhaust system sound like??i know it ll be noisy, i dont mind that i just dont want it to sound like a tractor thats all!!!

looking at your pics I`d say the silencers you have fitted are way to big, normally cherry bombs are only an inch in diameter bigger than the exhaust pipe, what really worries me is the nasty looking pipework before the pipes enter the silencers where the pipe from the engine splits from one pipe to two, the bends look a bit tight, hence restrictive, look at your old exhaust and see how smooth the bends are entering the silencer.

unless its just the angle from where the picture was taken?

the single pipe should ideally be shorter in length, then you should have a conical shape to smoothly reduce the diameter of the pipe to mate with the 2 exhaust pipes
the 2 pipes should also be the same length by the time that they enter the cherry bombs.
if you have already removed the pre cats, and the main cat then your exhaust should be quite loud, I would have thought that if you feel it is to quiet then the 2 silencers you have fitted are doing to good a job.

Clive I done a back to back test with a 450 with all cats in, and mine 4.6 with no cats at all and there was only 1-2 DB's between them
