Hi All,

Just thought I'd show you guys my before and after pictures. I've lost nearly 3 stone and to be fair, have had an enjoyable month, so plan to get back on it again.

Started playing badminton a couple of times a week and basically just watch the crap foods.

smile

Well done. Exercising doesn't have to be hard work.

Good work!

Did you do anything else other than starting exercise and dropping junk food?

Nope. Well, apart from no more white bread!

Just cut off cake, pizza, chinese - the usual stuff smile

Exactly. You read it everywhere, but slimming down really is as simple as 'eat less, move more'.

Oh bugger. I've been working on the "eat less, poop more" philosphy. hehe

You would definitely lose a lot of weight. That is the technique used by anorexics.

Well done mate.

Post uni I shed 6 and a half stone over the course of a year. And I did the same as you, watched the junk food, ditched the booze, ditched mums home-cooked full fat organic meals where 1 portion could feed a family of 12.

Admitedly I also changed jobs to a vastly manual labour intensive one half way through. Which prompted me going from morbidly obese to morbidly skinny.

Do you have a plan to keep the weight off?

(this is the part I have struggled with, regaining 2stone over the next year)

That is a hell of a change! What sort of routine did you have to achieve that?

2007 = I love food and beer
2010 = I love ME!!!

hehe

That's quite a transformation, for both of you. thumbup

On a similar note. I met a couple who were extremely fit and slim and they both wore t-shirts with a picture of a very fat couple on. Apparently it was then 3years ago and every anniversary (they started slimming) they go out for a meal while wearing those shirts. biggrin

Quality idea! I didn't have TOO much to lose, but I still think I'll get something like that. Perhaps a better idea would be a magnet on the fridge! hehe
