10 Million Air Miles (!)

[MikeGTi]

Just spotted this story on BBC News about an American who's managed to amass 10 million frequent flyer miles with United.

Apparently took 5,962 flights to do it.

That's an awful long time to spend on a plane.

What's he going to do with it- More flights. Yay!

I know at least 5 people with 2 million+ and they spend their lives on planes. even with my 1/2 million which it´s taken 5 years to collect, I spend far too much time in airports and it´´s far from a badge of honour and more a badge of shame for time you are away from the family.
10 million with nearly 6000 flights is not a great sign!!
