I'll buy you one drink for each emergency vehicle you can summon, double for helicopters.

I noticed that on your wrist at the pub meet (Empress of Blandings) a while ago Daniel, meant to say very nice but forgot, I'm normally found wearing a B of some description!

Owned a couple of Emergency's in the past, a yellow dial and a coral dial, thinking of picking up a coral dial again, would match the roof on my car!

Mate, he has lot's of NOS models I'd love, I'd be bankrupt in a week if I stepped in there! Good place to deal with though, sent a work mate his way for one of the last Blackbirds in the country, got a nice Breitling T-shirt for passing him the trade.

Do it. How do you know if you've been sold a duff one or not. Pull it. Don't be a girl. Do it.

A friend of mine fly's big yellow whirly birds with RAF Rescue on the side, he'd be quite happy to pop along once activated and present you with a bill for circa £30k!

Nice one, my wife bought me a yellow face emergency few months back as a wedding present. Apparenlty one of the last!!! I had the rubber strap fitted, now I just need to sell the titanium strap, if anyone knows where I can get the best price for it (never worn) please let me know.

I'm currently looking for an Emergency Professional.

The local AD said they'd been discontinued earlier in the year and they are waiting for a new model with a frequency change.

Don't know how true this is.

I've never posted on a watch thread or had any real interest in them until now. That watch is HOT!

The company that produced the transmitter have stoped making them, hence the Emergency being discontinued. The 121.5 Mhz is still in action as a distress signal.

He was hinting there would be a new version out under a new frequency. Perhaps the 402Mhz. But I didn't think there were any transmitters that would be suitable.

I know they have turned off some of the 121.5Mhz stuff, but it is still a monitored and searched frequency.

121.5 will be for the foreseeable future as well.
I'm sure I read somewhere that there was rumour that the Emergency may move to 243 (which is UHF, as opposed to the current VHF one).
It'll be interesting to see if it's brought back in.

I don't know the numbers but I know the transmitters on aircraft life rafts are being changed to a new frequency soon.
