MOT test - headlight beam adjustment?

Hi guys,

I'm putting the Audi in for MOT sometime in the next week, and it's occured to me that since I fitted a set of the projector-type headlights from a later model A4, I don't have the beam adjustment that's designed to compensate for towing, heavy loads etc. The headlights appear to be properly aligned, but the little three-position switch on the dashboard for adjusting them up and down to suit loading doesn't work, chiefly because I never carry heavy loads so could not be arsed to wire it up when fitting the lights!

Do I need this electric adjustment to work for the MOT, or will it be fine so long as the headlights are correctly aligned?

You don't need the adjustment to work for the MOT.
