Interior cooling fans not working.
Discussion
Arggh just in time for the heatwave, it would appear that my interior fans are no longer working.
Fan control lights the LEDs in line with the setting chosen but no air flows (hot or cold)
Heater ECU appears to be in good order , no corroded connections and no signs of overheating components so is it likely just to be the FAN motor itself? , which looks fun to access from GV's bible. PS heater ECU fuse is good so is there another fuse/relay I could check before dismantling half the inner wing/battery box?

Fortunately or unfortunately from a fault finding point of view, its blooming fixed itself... no fans all yesterday or this morning then later this afternoon they worked...
I was wondering which pin on the heater socket was the 12 volts though now its working I could crawl under there and check whats what for later when it stops again.

Mine would do this. Poor connection on the heater amp. Just because the plug is in place does not mean its making contact with the pins, it might not be the 12V pin either. Give it a wiggle with the fan running and see if it stops. I could make mine work again by removing the plug and re-connecting it!I was wondering which pin on the heater socket was the 12 volts though now its working I could crawl under there and check whats what for later when it stops again.
Easy to change the plug and create a tighter fit to the pins.
Shep
I had a wire work loose from the fan !!! bloody nightmare to fix, this was after dismantling the dash first to try & find the fault as you was describing.
the final call was to remove the battery & panel mess with lights & mirrors to veiw the wiring connection on the fan by removing the indicator light on the wing, after a few attemps managed to relocate the wire. all is working fine now.
Another place for you to visit if you cannot sort the fault?
