An Insurance question - but not what you expect....

Ok, so im looking at selling my TVR Chimaera, it currently costs me £400 a year through Manning UK (5000 mile limited, fully comp with track day, no no-claims, im 27)

Im starting to shop around for other things that i can insure for similar $$.
so... what sort of stuff could be in a similar insurance bracket/cost??
im thinking it may have to be a "classic"

The stupid thing is that if i try to insure a 1.4 fiesta, they (not manning) want £500!!!
(that's gocomparemeercats etc)

Probably up to £20k almost anything as long as you can live with earning no NCB, limited mileage , no business use and have something sufficient old that they will agree its a classic (10 or 15 years).

Id love a Noble, but i only have £10k to play with....

You can. Give CCI Insurance a call. They managed £340 for my VXT last year and you get track cover included.
