What sealant/bonding stuff/sticky stuff to use?

A few weeks back my car was damaged in the process of running a badger over.
Various bits of the front have been snapped/broken etc, including the foglights, which by the looks of things have both had a metal clip break on each one. Meaning it just keeps popping out without duct tape.


Making a Halfrauds trip later, what is the best stuff to use to stick it back together? Thanks in advance

And to be honest I don't think they are, but I'll ring up my local BMW dealer to check. Wouldn't surprise me if they just sold it as a whole unit instead.

Which BMW is it? Most fog lights are available from GSF or ECP at very good prices - even OE items.

I think sealant will be cheaper than a pair of new foglights mind, and there is nothing wrong with them aside from the broken clips.

Halfords / Screwfix / ToolStation, all stock the retaining clips. just Dremmel the old ones off and pop some new ones in . . . no need for Sikaflex

If you do decide to Sikaflex it - I'd put a new bulb in it first.

I've just had a clear out!! Brand new 36 fog lights!! Nobody wanted them so went to the tip!!
