Got lots of these little mushrooms growing in the lawn. Anyone able to identify them and whether they're edible?

Try boiling them to make tea for the full Hallucinogenic effect.

I have these growing in my garden,

They're fun. Eat 20 or so, if the wallpaper hasn't started running down the wall within an hour, eat another 20.

When visiting the OH's folks we go and pick Chanterelle mushrooms in their forest as well as blueberries in summer, its fun and I get to take a lot home to London that have been dried from the previous couple of weeks.

My guess is they're of the genus Mycena.

Most of these either taste horrible / disintegrate into mush when cooked.

Not good eating - I wouldn't.
