What's a 2000 (W) reg 323Ci worth?

Always had a soft spot for the E46 coupe and I have been offered one for cheap, but it has a couple of drawbacks.

Firstly, it has 170k, but has good history.

Secondly it needs around 500 quid spending on the paintwork to get it right.

On the plus side, it has a gorgeous red leather interior, It's silver and has some nice deep dish alloys (which do need a refurb)

What do we reckon BMW PH'ers?

i paid 1650 for my w reg 323i se with 85000 on the clock.it's mint apart from its had a shunt in the back at some point.it's been repaired though.

how much were they asking for it?

Why would you do anything to the paintwork on such a car?

Straight, £1250. If the paintwork looks unsightly, as little as £750.

From your description, I would say somewhere in the £1000-1500 bracket. Is the £500 bodywork a quote from the owner or your own estimate?

I'd rather have a tired E36 than E46. The latter is going to be a whole larger barrel of pain.

They are if they have 170000 miles on and need £500 spending on them. Be mad to pay more.
