Driving down the M1 last night and got delayed by about an hour and a half. First delay was down to broken down lorry with locked brakes...fair enough, big lump, hard to move. The 2nd delay was down to a Pug 106, behind the pug was a Highways Agency 4x4, behind that was a Highways Agency lorry. Stuck way back in the queue was the rescue lorry.

Just a quick question to to pistonhead massive, why couldn't they move to pug with a tow rope?

HA health and safety nazis have decided that the troops on the ground cannot wipe their arses without an assessment firts. Huge issues about what is their 'remit' and what they will or won't tow off.

The relationship with the Police (where I work anyway) is deteriorating rapidly.
