E34 barge early thoughts

Been smoking around in my "new" E34 525i (M50) for the last few days. Quite amazed at how well built it is. I previously had an E39 523i which, despite being younger, had quite a lot of squeaks and rattles and didn't have the hewn from granite feel. This E34 is totally squeak and rattle free, smooth, silent, handles beautifully, even sounds pretty good.

Only issue so far has been that the fuel tank vent pipes need changing so it regurgitated a bit a fuel after I brimmed it - I will attend to that at the weekend if I can get the parts in.

Considering the purchase price, it has to be as close to free motoring as you can get.
