How to fix this dent (with pics)

Hi all

See below. Mrs P managed to glance a low wooden bollard/fence post thingy at low speed, and put a nice dent in her wagon. Paint etc is not damaged - just the lower door pushed in.

Is this the kind of thing that a mobile outfit can repair (chips away etc), or is it a full-on bodyshop job? If the former, can anyone offer a rough estimate as to what it would cost, before I visit said bodyshops? Thanks.

That might push out from the inside if you can get the trim out to get to it

The PDR guys will glue a puller on it. Cost=buttons.

Yep, if you can get the trim out easily, have a go yourself.

Use a heavy rolled up cloth to press with rather than your bare hand.

I can't really get to it. On the inside of the door, that far down, is another layer of door skin/skeleton, which I can't take apart. It would need to be a suck job, so to speak.

a skilled dent man should sort that no probs, dont try any diy methods as you might well ruin his chances of sorting it

either wait for a local on here to suggest a good one , or ask at local garages with quality cars who they use as theres some cowboys about too
