After years of using music TV and my crappy Sony DVD cinema setup for music I just plugged my old Teac Reference 500 system back in and stuck on a CD.

Wow, I've missed using a proper sound system smile

I know it's not a high end system by any standards, but it wipes the floor and then some with the stuff that all of my friends use and is light years ahead of what I've been using until about 10 minutes ago.

Don't think I'll ever part with this kit, I bought it when I was about 14 and spent ages using my paper round to pay for it. At 27 I still love it biggrin

Actually, I was just trying to find an image as my camera is pants but can't find the right one, think I'll snap a pic later on and upload to the retro hi-fi thread, it's the original champagne finish one, lovely smile

I've had an old Teac that I got second hand about 6 years ago. Must be well of ten years old and it's magic! Cost me about 70 bucks!
