Have anyone ever seen this TVR?
Came across this TVR which is apparently for sale for a lot of money in Germany.

It has a 2.2 liter Cosworth engine and looks a lot like a race Tuscan.
I never have seen one before, does anyone knows something about it?

IIRC this car is for sale for a longer time now, and it has been covered on here a few times long ago.
To me, it looks like someone sellotaped a few TVR parts together, and claims it is a TVR prototype.
Potential buyers probably think the same, that's why it is still up for sale

especially the low profile with that hardtop on. Maybe they constructed it from various Tuscan parts

Come on lads, David Y says he's seen the car at Zolder and I've seen it several times since 1980something. It's been heavily modified over the years to resemble a Griffith, but it left Blackpool as a 3000S and that's what it still is. Sort of.
It's for a sale a long time that's for sure and I rather have a real Griff!
Has anyone contacted the vendor to ask about it's history?
My German's not up to much but it looks like it was registered in 1982.
There is at least one early 390SE that had Tuscan body panels added so perhaps this is an early wedge? It would make sense with that Cossie turbo lump. It's also LHD by the look of things.
Looks quite nice and I bet it goes like a rocket with 400bhp+!

What happend to the Speed8 Griff? Someone somewhere must have that ugly beast.
They usually chop them up with a chainsaw or stack them on top of the sheds in Blackpool.

Very sad but true. Speed8 was pre griff but recieved the chainsaw. Hard to believe that this car is a true TVR-test bed. V6 turbo was the experimental one at the time. I would have said half that value - it's got to compete price wise with Griffs, chimps, skylines, supras, etc..
