I'm not sure if people on Pistonheads are aware of the fantastic challenge that has been going on for the last 6+ months. Coverage on TV and Radio has been minimal but I feel this deserves a much larger profile.

Richard Parks is a former Wales Rugby Union International who has spent 2011 trying to set a record for reaching all three poles and the summit of the highest mountain on all 7 continents - raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care along the way. He sold everything he owns to fund the trip. Anyway, this morning just before 9am UK time he summitted Mount Elbrus in Russia - completing the challenge in 6 months, 11 days, 7hrs and 53 minutes.

Fantastic effort!!

If that's the case then there is a magnetic South too. So 4 in total

It is ... and he got frostbite summitting that one and was advised not to continue with the challenge as he risked serious injury - but he did anyway. It's just a real shame that he hasn't got the publicity he deserves as, at present, he is nowhere near his fund raising target.
