You know, those nice graceful turns that dancers do. Only problem was that it was the Griff, and we were still moving at a rate of knots.
Had the first trackday on the weekend

, and while the sliding when putting down the power seemed perfectly normal, wasn't too impressed
when I came to the end of the straight, hard on the brakes, and immediately found myself and car pointing the wrong way down the track
The car is still stock and have read that there may be a slight bias to the rear braking - options:
1. Upgrade front
2. Adjust bias
3. More driver training
p.s. I am aware of the maxims "brake THEN turn" and "do NOT engine brake in a Griff", but I suppose there is always room for improvement.
Any recommendations?

Heel & Toe...it's the only way!
check the shock and suspension set up via someoneone like Peninsula / Joospeed. You may have weak brakes,or shocks causing the cars balance to be out.
as you got quicker, the brakes start to fade, so you lean on them more etc.
you can brake and turn in IF you know what you're doing and the cars well set up. but don't if you don't know what you're doing...Particularly if you're near ARMCO
see starmists input on the V8 Developments thread.
Practice! and don't be worried about the odd spin unless you can't identify where you went wrong or hy the car wouldn't do what you wanted. then it can be dangerous.
have fun
