140K Alfa 156 MOT Time - Poll on How Much ££££

Well guys, my 2002 Alfa 156 is going in for its MOT on Friday, due to complete resignation (and the cars past history) on my part I am not holding out much hope of an easy pass.

So lets have a little poll on how much it's gonna cost me! (no prizes will be rewarded, all my money will no doubt be going to pay the mechanics mortgage for a few months)

Bit of background on the car:

2002 156 JTS Sportswagon
Milage: 140,000
Last MOT Bill came to: £1750.00 (although £750 was a new gearbox)
Nothing currently obviously broken, but who knows.

So start your guessing.

On a serious note this might be the end of the Alfa, if the bill gets to £500 its worth more than the car, so could be sad times!

Tbh my 2001 156 with 90k on it sailed through the last MOT. Much to my surprise! So you never know!
