We'd all pulled over to let the fire engine past and there you are like a pathetic little limpet stuck to the back of it. You must have been close to causing two accidents that I could see as people who'd pulled over began to move off not realising that a brain donor like you would try to take advantage of the situation.

In fairness, I have seen a car glued to the back of an Ambulance on B&Ts, most of the people (including me) who had pulled over assumed it was their loved one in the ambulance and didn't kick up a fuss about it. I have heard stories of ambulance crews asking family members to keep up, although whether this translates into practice or not I'm not really sure.
