If we all point our wedges east and rev them tonight for half an hour, the exhaust gases will push back the clouds coming over the Atlantic....

Seriously though it may miss us. I am keeping my eye on the pressure charts, they have already changed since yeaterday on the forecast, it depends on how strong the high pressure zone above us is right now and whether the incoming front keeps coming East or slips up to the North. Fingers crossed eh?

Last w/e was supposed to be bad but ended up OK, a few sprinkles.

Got 12 big pumps out here on a job and 8 massive compessors, going to run them all at max all week to create a bit of global warming for you all and hopefully if the wind is in the right direction it will be blazing hot for you all.

Anyone planning on cleaning their car once they've arrived in the event of it being hidebound? What you taking with you if so?

Can't get "metcheck.com" right now but certainly the BBC reckon more "wet fest" than wedge fest.

Lets hope things change by the weekend I have seen it happen before.

Would be nice to arrive there top down even if the rest of the journey is a bit damp.

Saturday looks the worst day in weeks, but they often get it wrong. The Growl had 3 years of crap weather and it really don't help. Wedgefest usually gets the sun, in fact can't recall rain other than one of the mornings a few years ago.
By the way the White Horse down the road should now be open (after over 18 months closed) if you fancy a few jars - they are doing 2 or 3 proper ales and a scrumpy too (or so the landlord told me), and given the Wedges like to be frugal its a fair bit cheaper than the hotel.
See you all on Saturday.

Saturday morning currently looks wet (so a free rinse for the car) but it looks like brightening up in the afternoon..

I usually find the forecast is right for the short term ones, just the timing is wrong.
