Ford Puma Locking

So I went to lock my car today (with the Key) and twisted back first to double lock as usual. However it won't dead lock with the indicator flash like it has done everday up until today. Also to open the boot I have to use the ket even if the car is unlocked, I can't push the button in to pop the boot like I could. Coincendence, or related? And how do I fix this.
