I am hoping within the next week to have my Tuscan 2 S sat nicely on my driveway. biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
I am looking for a little lead foot protection in the form of a GPS speed detector or a laser blocker. Has anyone got a recommended bit of kit or know of new equipment on sale that has a good review.
There are toooooo many to pick from.

Thanks,

Road angel gets my vote!

If you have an IPhone they even do an app £18 for the year and their databases keep quite well up to date.

LT400 works very well - be careful, unless you buy the entire kit including home "gate opener / light trigger", you may find the boys in blue have a word. However, in most circumstances they won't have the time or inclination to go chasing you. The only story I know of where someone was prosecuted was because he went past the same speed van every day and after a while they got suspicious of the error.

Just read the article , I have a "remote garage door opener " fitted in my Vanquish mirror by AM but dont have a garage door sensor
Is this illegal ?? Surly not, What powers have the police to search a car?

Lots.

Especially if they suspect that something in the car is being used for a 'cheat'

The scenario would probably play out.

Car stopped.

Noticed that an error message was generated.

Have you a laser device or garage opening system fitted?

Yes.

OK - lets go to your house and see it working.

If too far away - OK - someone from the local nick will be round to see it working.

All present and correct - in the clear.

No system at home. In the brown smelly.

That is, of course, if they can be arsed, which will be normally linked to the attitude of the person stopped, the speed suspected and if the car is listed as having been stopped for similar.
