Arrrrgghhhhh. I measure the pipe at the engine, 8mm internal diameter needed. Great, order the goodies and get the car and myself into a very awkward set up. Lop off the old, offer up the new, it does not fit. The tank return metal pipe is 10mm (or whatever it is in pounds shillings and pence)

Much gnashing of teeth. Copious hot water and no more knuckles. Now for the rest of it.

Absolute PITA with my garage and drive. Need to get something to make it easier. I would have asked the garage to look at it but the return was spilling its guts around the diff area big time. It was holier than man made global warming enthusiasts. Battery on charge now as its flat as a pancake. Pump fired up and no leaks so should be OK. I think 400psi should be OK 8mm onto a 10mm jobby. It has just over the width of the jubilee clip on.
