Firstly - a big thanks to everyone who advised me prior to the trip.

2 days before we had planned to leave, there was a server storm warning and the forecast was for rain all weekend, so with 2 bikes in our convoy we very nearly called off the whole trip. Thank god we didn't!

Thursday:

Aston Martin & 350Z leave London and spend several hours driving through the storm to rendez-vous with the local bikers down near Geneva. Spirits are slightly lifted as it's not raining in Chamonix, which is our first overnight point.

Friday:

The skys are blue and we're ready to go:

The day saw us head over the Col du Forclaz in to Switzerland and then down the straighish road to Brig, where the real fun began. We headed up the Grimsel pass and over the Susten Pass. Awesome roads, well sighted and wide enough of overtaking / runoff!

Overnight in Davos

Saturday:

We took the amazing Fluala pass towards the Stelvio...

The stelvio is as everyone says, not as good as everything surrounding it, but a necessary pilgramage non-the-less! On the South side, we had some close encounters with some lunatic Italians on the wrong side of the road - be warned!

Sunday:

Heading back through the Andermatt loop towards Chamonix

An epic few days of driving & riding - the highlight being the Andermatt loop. Unreal quantity of quality roads!

Fortunately for me, I live in the Alps, but the London boys swore that they'd be back next year drivingthumbup
