Classic cars in modern adverts

I'm always surprised when I see a lovely old car in an advert that has nothing to do with it on TV these days. For example, the advert for a certain shop which has a system resembling a dentist waiting room:

Convertible Fiat 128? 124? can't remember the number in the really refreshing advert for some random product where sudden rain showers deluge random people when he uses it.

Saw the jensen too and was suitably impressed.

I like it when manufacturers show snippets of their heritage to advertise their modern cars, for example Mercedes' latest advert for the new C-Class Coupe, featuring all sorts of classic Mercs, and also Skoda's lead-in adverts for the ITV4 coverage of festival of speed, featuring a couple of classics (a 110?)

I hate it when Audi use urQuattros to promote their heritage, because they don't do too much to help those of us who like old Audis, unlike Mercedes or Volvo.

There was one which featured an Ochre Alfa 1750 GTV once, it got shown in the states and made it on to the net via the forums. pretty cool too as I recal.

Sainsburies used a similar car for some static photos once too.

Renault R8 Gordini in the Fleurette commercial. I'd have thought they would have gone for something a bit more Eastern European but IMHO the car makes a success of an otherwise carp ad!

There's a Rolls Royce in an advert for whatever it is Kate Moss does the ads for. I'm not a Rolls expert but it looks lovely.

There's a very brief shot of Baby Bertha in the Vauxhall ad for the Meriva (?). And a Manta A-series in another Vauxhall ad, for some reason. Oh, and a Chevette HS in the background to a BT ad in the early 80s.

An Elan +2S used to appear in an ad about 10 years ago, for I think chocolates or something. From what I recall the couple inside arrived at a party one evening, failed to bring anything for their hosts, and were ushered through the house and out the back door. Unfortunately the Elan was in a particularly unappealing shade of green which did the car no favours.
