A fox has been digging under my decking and I would like to know the best way to get rid. I have blocked up the gap at the back of the garden where the fox gets through but now it just jumps the fence. Do the sonic sounders work that b&q sell for circa £30? I have also put rubble where it digs under the decking but that doesn't seem to work.
P. S I havent got a gun so can't shoot it!

We had foxes destroying our new lawn at the start of the year, and crapping everywhere (not ideal with a toddler who loves outside).
We got a cheapo infra red water sprayer from eBay and set it up so it covered half the
Garden.
For the past 3/4 months we've not had a single hole/fox poo in the garden. Infect the only time we use it now is for my son to play with and get squirted by (he loves it).
For £24 it has been brilliant. Plug and play.

We regularly have foxes in our garden and have done for many years. They don't do any serious damage other than a couple of small holes in the lawn and knocking over my garden gnomes. Are there any health risks associated with their presence? I would be interested to know.

Well the foxes like to spp
t on the driveway and in the garden and we have our young nieces and nephew over so yes there is a health issue there. Not to mention them destroying the fence, plants, grass. I don't want to harm them I just want the gone turbopug said:
No gun? Get some poison, put it on a bit of chicken and leave it out.
And then feign ignorance when you hear your neighbours kids crying over the death of their cat
If the foxes bug you that much, and with the rancid feces & strangled baby mating calls I can understand why they might, try the following:
Make sure they can't get at any rubbish, keep it in the garage until bin day if needs be.
Cut back all overgrown vegetation that will provide them shelter.
Block access to under your patio with strong, thick mesh. Dig it it to about 30cm to make sure they won't dig under it.
If that doesn't shift them then tyr some Scoot but be warned, it stinks.
