I think that the PH default should be 80 post pages.
I understand that the argument against has been that for people who view on 'mobile devices' it's too large a page for them to load.
Mobile data speeds now render this argument baseless. And I'm not suggesting that the ability to manually change how many posts appear on a page should be removed anyway.
So, important reasons why we need this to change:
1. Longer pages are more grown up
2. If you write an awesome post and it happens to be the last on a ten-post page, most people inevitably miss it, especially on fast moving threads.
3. People won't moan that they have so many pages to read/click through
4. It'll be PH's bit in the fight against RSI
5. Err.... that's it
6. Well, maybe...
7. Anyone who disagrees is a bender?

I'm guessing because V8mate has just carefully crafted what he thought was a multi-rofl winning post only to find his hopes dashed by it appearing at the bottom of the page and being missed by most. pugwash4x4 said:

Agreed, and if you do want to find a certain page you just put the page number in the box up there^^, it's not rocket science :smug:I think V8 is just worried that if he does ever do an awesome post it'll end up in the graveyard slot at the bottom of the page
